You might think of Sue Ann Nivens or Rose Nylund when you think of Betty White. But you can just as easily think about the Morris Animal Foundation or Los Angeles Zoo, since Betty has long served as on the Board of Directors for both organizations. Warm winter and moist springs are helping fleas to flourish 12 months a year in places where they even recently historically died off, according to veterinary parisitologist Dr. Michael Dryden, Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine – Manhattan.
